In April 2021, Dmytro Nechyporenko, Business Development Director of VOLTAGE, visited South Africa as part of a trade mission organized by the Ukrainian Business and Trade Association (UBTA). The trade mission included representatives of various sectors of the Ukrainian economy. VOLTAGE – represented the sector of renewable and traditional energy. Among other representatives were representatives of such modern and progressive Ukrainian companies as KORMOTECH, PRANA, MHP. Also, the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine – Mr Gennady Chizhikov took part in the mission.
Meetings with local government and business representatives were organized by UBTA in cooperation with local chambers of commerce and industry. One of such meetings took place in the city of Durban.
During the presentations of the companies, Dmytro Nechyporenko presented the achievements of VOLTAGE in the field of renewable energy and also suggested for consideration by representatives of local business and government several areas for potential cooperation.
The stay of the Trade Mission in the city of Pretoria deserves special attention. With the support of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of South Africa, Lyubov Abravitova, a meeting was held at the Embassy of Ukraine in South Africa. The meeting was attended by representatives of local businesses, authorities, as well as high-level representatives of South Africa’s neighboring countries.
